In her role as Senior Production Executive in the British Film Commission, Samantha provides tailored production support, guidance and troubleshooting to international film and television productions shooting, or planning to shoot, in the UK; she works to support and promote the UK film and television infrastructure and is responsible for liaising between the industry and Government on legislative issues that impact on production. She has assisted on many high profile projects for clients including Walt Disney Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros. Pictures, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Dreamworks, Marvel Studios, Lionsgate, HBO and Starz.   Samantha joined the UK Film Council’s International Department in 2004.  She worked closely with the British government in developing the UK's Film Tax Relief and Cultural Test policy and guidance. She was subsequently seconded to run the UK Film Council's Certification Department, overseeing applications for British film qualification. Samantha has also worked in theatre stage management, independent TV production, film and TV post production and locations support; managing the Regional Screen Agency locations office at Leavesden Studios.
