Nick Maniatis
Director, New Mexico State Film Office
Nick Maniatis was appointed Director of the New Mexico State Film Office in July of 2011. He began his career in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, working in different capacities on such shows as Candid Camera, A Different World and Grace Under Fire. He is a former member of the Director's Guild of America and the New Mexico Governor's Council on Film and Media Industries. He previously served as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Independent Power Producers and lobbied the New Mexico legislature for an array of clients. The New Mexico Film Office works diligently to attract production, post-production and digital media companies to New Mexico for economic growth and job creation. Nick currently serves on the AFCI Board of Directors.
