John Myhre is an American production designer who has been working in Hollywood since the late 1980s.  He received his first Academy Award nomination in 1998, for “Elizabeth,” bringing him to the forefront of Hollywood production designers.  He was also nominated for “Dreamgirls,” and “Nine.”  He won Academy Awards for “Chicago” and “Memoirs of a Geisha.”  Recent credits include “Pirates of the Caribbean:  On Stranger Tides,” “X-Men,” and “Ali.”
