Jamila C. Fairley
Associate Director of Tax, Twentieth Century Fox
Jamila C. Fairley is an Associate Director of Tax at Twentieth Century Fox (Fox), where she specializes in production tax planning and film incentive financing for Fox's film and television productions. Jamila is responsible for advising on available domestic and international production incentives, tax-based financing deals, and other regional and municipal financing deals. In addition, Jamila represents Fox in various inter-studio efforts, including the Tax Incentives Working Group of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), to develop, and enhance various jurisdictions' enacted and proposed production incentives legislation.
Jamila is a 15 year tax professional, most recently joining Fox from the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). At PwC she serviced tax clients including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers and other mid-sized entertainment entities. Jamila also worked in-house at the Sony Pictures Entertainment Tax Department.
Jamila hails from Greensboro, North Carolina. She is a C.P.A., with a B.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University, and a J.D. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
