Dominic recently joined Deadline as the General Assignment Reporter covering film, television, legal issues and media. Prior to Deadline, Dominic has written for a number of online sites including thewrap.com, salon.com and examiner.com. He also has written for numerous print publications including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Times, The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star. He was the Arts & Life editor and the Chief Features editor for The Vancouver Sun.
A frequent guest on FNC and SiriusXM, Dominic is known to be an outspoken and highly knowledgeable guest about a wide variety of current topics.Early in his career, Patten, who has worked as documentary director, TV producer and national new correspondent, created and hosted Canada’s primetime TV news magazine series 21© for CTV. The series garnered an impressive collection of awards and nominations.
