Producer of the Academy Award-winning Monster starring Charlize Theron, Clark Peterson has produced and executive produced a wide variety of award-winning feature films and documentaries. Most recently, he produced the upcoming true crime drama Devil’s Knot, directed by Atom Egoyan and starring Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth, as well as Decoding Annie Parker, starring Helen Hunt, Samantha Morton, and Aaron Paul. He is also currently producing the animated film adaptation of Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet, directed by Roger Allers (The Lion King), and starring Liam Neeson, Salma Hayek, Quvenzhané Wallis, Frank Langella, John Krasinski, and Alfred Molina. Other recent credits include the critically acclaimed Rampart, starring Woody Harrelson and directed by Oren Moverman, from a screenplay by Moverman and James Ellroy. A graduate of Stanford University and the University of Strasbourg, France, Peterson started his career working for legendary film producer, Roger Corman.

In late 2014, the AFCI and its industry partners will unveil a wide-ranging schedule tailored to filmmakers representing all budgets and genres. Popular topics at last year’s show included the rise of filmmaking in the emerging markets of Brazil, Russia, China and India; candid conversations with the key players—a.k.a. location mavericks—of location filming; navigating documentary filmmaking on foreign soil; exclusive dialogue on independent and big-name movie making with the producers themselves, and much more.
