J.D. Streett
Special Effects Supervisor
J.D.Streett is a special effects supervisor in the motion picture and television industry in Los Angeles California. He has been in the industry since 1984. He holds a California State first class pyrotechnic license, federal explosive and firearms licenses. He is licensed in the State of California to operate flame throwers.
Streett has a BS in electrical engineering and is on the Executive Boards of the Association of Special Effects and Pyrotechnic Operators (ASEPO) and International Alliance Of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE local 44) representing the special effects classification. He is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) and the Visual Effects Society. He also sits on NFPA’s Motion Picture and Special Effects Committees.
